A beverage Legacy Time Line

1860-Karl and Charles Kolter establish what becomes the Koch Beverage and Ice Company. Koch's begin bottling Old Vienna Beer.

1898-Caleb Bradham Invents "Brads Drink" in New Bern , North Carolina. This became known as Pepsi-Cola.

1920's- One of the causes of the Great depression, Prohibition, forces the Kochs to Bottle "Near Beer" and look into soft drinks

1934 -Julia May Doolitle becomes one of the first women to run a brewery.

1941-Julia May Doolitle and George Henry Koch purchase Consolidated Bottling Co of Lima Ohio and begin bottling Pepsi.

1967-The Ohio Plant is moved to the outskirts of Lima Ohio. Joan Crawford attends the Opening.

1972- Karl W Koch Purchases the Pepsi Cola Franchise in Corpus Christi Texas

1980-We are the first Franchise bottler to introduce the Pepsi Challenge.

1985-We're once again ahead of our time when we begin distribution of Everest Premium Water.

1988-Madanas' Pepsi Commercial airs, Corpus Christi Pepsi is mentioned on M T-V for calling the commercial obnoxious and refusing to run it.

1990-The eighth generation begins work in the beverage industry.

1992-The last glass bottled rolled of the line at Pepsi Cola Corpus Christi

1993- Oneta Expands into the Snack vending industry with the Purchase of Sunrise Vending Company.

1994 -Pepsi World is Launched.

1998-Everest Water Expands into the Rio Grande Valley with the purchase of Valley Bottled water

1998-Pesi Cola turns 100 years old.

1999-NACAR Racer Jeff Gordon wins multiple races in the Pepsi Car.

1999-Pepsi Contributes to the successful launch of Star Wars Episode One.

1999-A bottled of Everest Water is taken to Mt. Everest in Nepal.

2000- We are in the national spotlight again when a man steals a Coke van and loads it with Pepsi from one of our locked trucks. Finally, a thief with taste!
